Diane –
This may well be my favorite album of all time. I totally overplay it and I’m not bored of it yet. At first listen, I thought it was pretty solid; after the third listen I became hooked. The music is smart and uplifting with terrific jams and interesting melodies. It’s great for road trips, parties or just dancing around the house. The lyrics speak volumes to me and I continue to find new meaning in the poetry. It’s a strangely visual album with themes running through different songs and coming up again in others. I can’t remember when I last loved an album this much. In fact, I can’t think of any other album where there isn’t at least one song to skip over. Not so on “Play It Pretty For Atlantis”. ALL the songs ROCK. This album is perfect.
